Welcome to Cooinda Village

Cooinda is a facility offering 78 single rooms for low, dementia and high care residents. All rooms offer ensuite facilities and are sensitively arranged in a garden setting. All meals are cooked fresh on site and a large recreation room and multipurpose room is available for a broad range of activities.

In addition to the Hostel and Nursing Home style of accommodation Cooinda offers 49 units to those people who are able to live independently. These units range in size and style, featuring various designs and are located in garden settings. A building program for an additional units is continuing.

A team of professional staff is in attendance 24 hours a day to provide quality care and services to the long term and respite residents who come into Cooinda.

The facility was re-accredited in October 2007 for a further three years and offers accommodation on a needs assessment and availability basis.

Cooinda is overseen by a voluntary Committee of Management.
